“Ruminations”is a farm nostalgia book, about the simple an wonderful life on the farm. Through short stories it allows the reader to savor rich memories of the past, and as importantly, it is full of ideas of how, even in an urban setting, you can recapture a bit of the farm life. It is written in the style of “The Farmer’s Almanac”and so it is easy to pick up, put down, and pick up again.
